Need Bitcomet to virus scan with AVG
Hi!
Recently I've changed my AV to AVG 2015. Now the problem I'm facing is that I can't get it to start virus scan after a download finishes. Atleast according to AVG's option > history > scan results it dose'nt.

that the .exe required for this are either avgscana.exe or avgscanx.exe. For your information I also use Internet download manager, there my selections are
For path C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\AVG2015\avgscanx.exe and for parameter- /scan=[File] /clean
And when checked in AVG option > history > scan results it shows that the scan has been performed with the findings in detail.
But in bitcomet I've tried with both of the above exe files and only thing that I've been getting is a command window that opens and closes as soon as a download complets, but when I check in AVG option > history > scan results it does'nt show that a scan was performed.
I'm using Bitcomet (64 bit) 1.38
What should I do now? Please help.

Nothing happening
hi,
got comet installed, Ive put 4 torrents in there using magnet,
but nothing seems to be happening
on firewall, comet is there as an exception so dont think the firewall
is causing the prob

Where is updates for MPC Star Player
Dear Admin
It's really long time to not come MPC Star player update and now days many (mkv) files it dosn't support. I Love this Player it is very easy and with more options and also it relate to bitcomet download menu. I do not want to switch this with other Player so Pls do update to all latest formats

Windows 10 and blocked ports

I previously used a computer with Windows 7 which I then upgraded to WIndows 10 and BitComet ran perfectly.
However, as that computer was really slow I have bought a new one. This had Windows 8.1 which I immediately upgraded to WIndows 10. Since I have installed BitComet I have always had a blocked port, and the UPnP has always failed.
Has anyone any ideas what to do? I have tried changing FIrewall settings using the guides on here, but nothing has worked. I can download data perfectly, but I can share it back.

Bitcomet keeps 'not responding'

I just downloaded the new Bitcomet 1.40 for 64bit as I recently had the 1.37 and kept checking for updates by clicking on the check for updates and it kept saying I had the most upto date version. I found out today that there was a 1.40 by doing a google search.
In the last week or so, Bitcomet has been 'not responding' a lot when I go to download something. It will freeze and then I will shut it down and try again but it keeps going on like that then eventually it will work and keep working.
My details:
I have ADSL2+ and use it wireless
I got a new modem a few weeks ago a TP Link Archer D7
I have Windows 7
I use Microsoft Security Essentials as an antivirus
Never had problems with firewall before as there is a firewall exception.
I don't use any ip filtering software (not sure what that is) I do use noscript and adblocker on my search browser which I am currently using the old cometbird.

Lost all my tasks on bitcomet!!!

I just opened bitcomet and got the following error message.....
Failed to load task list! Please try to restore from bak file. (C;\Users\James\AppData\Roaming\....\Downloads.xml)
For one thing I can't find the file and secondly would not know what to do with it if I did!!! I also went to torrent history and nothing in the list after April this year.
I had just last week downloaded a HEAP of stuff and didn't get around to moving them to the pc yet as moving house.
I'm thinking this is not able to be recovered but if someone out there could solve my problem I would be eternally grateful!

Bitcomet 1.40 no more final hash verification
Hello, I just upgraded to version 1.40 and noticed that at the end of the download of every new torrent there is no more the usual automatic verification of the hash, so at this point I believe I could expect some errors in the files of a downloaded torrent.
There is something I can do, for example changing something in the options?

BC freezing my internet once torrent starts.
Hi
I've been using BC for years ith no problems. However recently as soon as I start a torrent download my internet connections dies. The torrent stops downloading and I can't browse any websites. I have to unplug my router and wait a couple of minutes and then get my connection back.I am using v1.37. Any ideas what's causing this?

like many struggling with listen port blocked

Recently all of sudden, in bitcomet listen port is blocked. Before i post here i have completed all steps listed in below link

I stuck while adding port forward in IBALL router.i am using 150M Wireless-N ADSL2+ Router
where i can see in virtual server section it is asking me to add service name where i do not see bitcomet . i remembered i added both bitcomet TCP and UDP in netwotk--> router--> settings---> add service
how to go forward? experts any help can i get?

BitComet has stopped working...

First of all, I am new on this forums. I've always used BitComet, but as of yesterday I have an issue which is preventing me from using it.
I now have 2 ISPs, and it seems my down/up speed has doubled, however I noticed a different behaviour in BitComet. The cirle on the pointer is always showing while using the program, as if it always trying to compute something. At first I though OK, maybe the double speed is making it hard for my hard drive to catch up, however after some time I see the message: BitComet has stopped working and it shuts down.
Has anyone experienced such and issue and is there a fix for it? I saw a solution in another thread for client freeze to uncheck "create BT task after downloading torrent file" and I am still waiting for a result, whether it will crash again, or not...

W.M.P. suckalooza
I'm new here so I hope this is where I learn how to program my new toaster........or how to make vlc my default preview player instead of w.m.p. which repeatedly gives me a redundant message about being out of date and it being impossible to make it not out of date, I've gone to windows ctrl panel and made vlc my default for everything there but when I try to preview in bitcomet it just keeps opening w.m.p. with that stupid message.
Any helpspeak would be full of help for me right now, I'm stuck.

Hi
When I enter movie name in search box it takes me to the BitComet page but only the tool bar appears (home, top movies,dvd, ect.) then the rest of the page is blank. I have tried search with pirate bay, torrentz and the others but all the same.
I did separate web search to these sites and they are fine, it's only through BitComet that my search fails.

Not downloading or connecting to CometID, please help
I've been using bitcomet for years without any problems. The past week it simply won't download anymore. Also doesn't connect to cometID. Dht is connected. V1.40,listen port detection failed, windows 8.1.
it's not my ISP as I've tested using my old computer with the latest version & it downloads & connects to cometID.
I suspected my antivirus(AVG) so uninstalled it and tried another(avast) but still no chance. I have firewall exceptions for bitcomet and tried changing the listening port but nothing I've tried has worked.
